What happened to Mixer? Follow

On June 22, 2020 Microsoft announced the imminent closure of the Mixer platform. This closure, scheduled for July 22, 2020 means the retirement of the Mixer service and for us, all related Mixer entry methods and authentication method on PLAYR.gg as they become obsolete.

PLAYR.gg users with multiple authentication methods (connections), besides Mixer, are not impacted by this change. These users may log in using any one of their other connected account types after July 22, 2020.

PLAYR.gg users with only a Mixer account connected are required to connect another approved authentication method such as Twitter, Twitch or Facebook in order to log in on or after July 22, 2020.
